Tradeify rules
Rule explorer
One-step evaluation with no consistency rule and a 1-day minimum, so it can be passed in a single day; it has a soft daily loss limit. Funded accounts pay out every 5 profitable days, with a 35% consistency rule and a minimum balance.
Evaluation
passing the test- Profit target
- $3,000
- Max drawdown
- $2,000, trailing based on end-of-day balance (the floor only moves up at the close, but touching it at any moment during the day fails the account)
- Daily loss limit
- $1,250 soft limit: hitting it stops trading for the rest of the day but does not fail the account
- Consistency rule
- None
- Minimum trading days
- 1 trading day
- Max contracts
- 4 minis (40 micros) Accounts bought before Sept 12, 2025, 8:00 AM ET: 5 minis (50 micros).
- Also know
- No time limit. No activation fee after passing.
Funded
after you pass- Activation fee
- None
- Max drawdown
- $2,000, trailing based on end-of-day balance, enforced in real time
- When the drawdown stops trailing
- Stops trailing once the end-of-day balance reaches $52,100 (or when a payout is requested, whichever comes first); the floor then stays fixed at $50,100
- Daily loss limit
- $1,250 (rises to $2,000 once the balance reaches $53,000); soft limit that pauses trading for the day. Accounts bought before Sept 12, 2025 have the limit removed instead at 6% profit.
- Consistency rule
- 35%: the best single day must be no more than 35% of total profit to request a payout (it does not fail the account)
- Max contracts / scaling
- 4 minis (40 micros) from day one, no scaling plan. Accounts bought before Sept 12, 2025, 8:00 AM ET: 5 minis (50 micros).
- Also know
- Funded account starts at the base size; evaluation profits don't carry over. Cannot be reset.
Payouts
getting paid- Days needed before a payout
- 5 profitable trading days with at least $150 profit each since the last payout (the count restarts after every payout)
- How often
- Each time the 5 profitable days, 35% consistency and minimum balance are met again
- Profit split
- 90% to the trader
- Minimum payout
- $500
- Maximum payout
- $1,500 for payout 1, $2,000 for payout 2, $2,500 for payout 3, $3,000 from payout 4 on per request; anything above the cap stays in the account (accounts bought before Sept 12, 2025 follow an older 6-step table that rises to $25,000 per payout after the 6th payout)
- Buffer / safety net
- Balance must be at least $53,000 ($52,100 for accounts bought before Sept 12, 2025) to request a payout and must stay there until it is approved
- Also know
- Over 50% of trades and profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds.
Heads up: recent changes and conflicting pages 15
- Sept 12, 2025 (8:00 AM ET): contract limits cut (50K 5->4 minis, 100K 10->8, 150K 15->12) for Growth and Lightning; Lightning consistency moved from a flat 20% to 20%/25%/30%; Growth payout minimum balances and payout caps changed; daily loss limits now increase at 6% profit instead of being removed. Older accounts keep the old rules.
- Dec 3, 2025: accounts bought on or after this date can only move to Elite Live (80/20); earlier purchases may choose Legacy Live or Elite.
- Aug 27, 2026: Select 300K V2 launched ($349, $8,000 drawdown, $4,000 daily loss limit) replacing V1 ($449, $6,000 drawdown, no daily loss limit).
- Sept 1, 2026: new Select funded payout caps for accounts bought on or after this date (Flex 50K $3,000->$2,500, 100K $4,000->$3,500, 150K $5,000->$4,500; Daily 50K $1,000->$1,250, 100K $1,500->$1,750).
- Sept 15, 2026: Risk & Compliance Guidelines last updated (help page dated Oct 1, 2026). Level Up V2 released Oct 15 (year not stated on the page). ProjectX has been discontinued.
- Help-center articles only show relative dates ('Updated over a week ago' / 'over 2 weeks ago'), so exact revision dates are unknown.
- The tradeify.co homepage pricing cards appear unfinished and conflict with the help center: every card shows '$359 struck through, $251 one-time', the evaluation cards list a $1,000 trailing drawdown and $600 daily loss limit for every size, and the profit target is 'Lorem ipsum dolor.' The help center's Pricing Reference gives different per-size prices (for example Growth 50K $145, Select 50K $165, Lightning 50K $492). This file uses the help center figures.
- The homepage says 'No consistency once funded', but the Growth funded payout policy and Consistency Rule article require 35% consistency on Growth funded accounts and 20-30% on Lightning; only Select has no funded consistency rule.
- Select contract limits conflict: the Select Evaluation article says the 25K evaluation allows '1 / 10' (1 mini / 10 micros), while the Select Flex and Daily payout policy says evaluations have 'full limits: 2/20, 4/40, 8/80, or 12/120' and lets a 25K funded account scale to 2 minis (20 micros). The Essential Trading Rules Overview lists the 25K maximum as 1 mini (10 micros).
- The Essential Trading Rules Overview leaves the 25K daily loss limit blank for Growth funded and Select Daily, while the Daily Loss Limit article gives $600 (Growth) and $500 (Select Daily). It also says Select funded consistency is not stated, while the Select articles say there is no consistency rule once funded.
- Lightning 150K daily loss limit: the Lightning article gives $3,000, but '150k purchases made before March 31 have a Daily Loss Limit of $3,750' (year not stated), and legacy 150K accounts keep $3,750 / $6,000 drawdown.
- Payout timing differs by page: the Common FAQs say payouts usually arrive within 24 hours after Rise onboarding, the KYC article says Rise processing typically takes 1-3 business days, and the Select payout policy calls Rise 'instant processing'.
- Funded drawdown amounts for Growth and Lightning are not listed in one table; the Trailing Max Drawdowns article gives lock thresholds (for example Growth 150K $155,100, Lightning 150K $155,350) that, with the $X,100 locked floor, match the drawdowns in the plan articles.
- The Level Up V1 FAQ is labelled 'Legacy' ($80, 5 attempts) and V2 ($89, 3 attempts) is the current version; neither the help center nor the homepage confirms whether Level Up or the Select 300K is still available to buy.
- Tradeify also runs separate brands (Tradeify 247, Tradeify Perps, Tradeify FX) with their own rules; they are not covered here.

Rules for every Tradeify account
Trading hours, news, banned strategies, account limits, fees and more.
- Brokers and platforms
At checkout you pick one of three brokers, all at the same price: Tradovate (which also gives you NinjaTrader desktop and TradingView through Tradovate), Rithmic (Tradesea, Quantower, Sierra Chart, R|Trader) or WealthCharts (its own platform only). Changing broker later means buying a new account; you can switch platforms freely within the same broker. TradingView and NinjaTrader only work with Tradovate accounts. Sierra Chart needs its own paid subscription. ProjectX has been discontinued.
source · help.tradeify.co - Market data
Level 1 CME data is included with every broker. Level 2 (market depth) and EUREX data are only available on Tradovate accounts and are bought directly from Tradovate; they are not yet offered for Rithmic or WealthCharts. On Tradovate you must sign the Non-Professional Data Agreement on first login or data stays delayed.
source · help.tradeify.co - Tradable products
Futures on CME, COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT: equity indexes (ES, NQ, YM, RTY, EMD, NKD and micros MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K), energy (CL, NG, QM, QG, MCL), metals (GC, SI, HG, PL, PA, QO, MGC), currencies (6E, 6B, 6J, 6A, 6C, 6S, M6E, M6A) and agriculturals (ZC, ZW, ZS, ZL, ZM, HE, LE, GF). EUREX index and bond futures (FDAX, FESX, FGBL and others) are available on Tradovate only, need an extra exchange subscription, are priced in euros and settle in US dollars. Anything not on the list is not supported.
source · help.tradeify.co - Products not allowed
No cryptocurrency futures of any kind (including Bitcoin futures), no Micro Silver (SIL), and no stocks, forex, options or single-stock futures on futures accounts.
source · help.tradeify.co - How contracts are counted
Full-size and E-mini contracts each count as one contract toward the position limit; 10 micros count as one mini. Minis and micros may be held together as long as the combined total stays within the limit.
source · help.tradeify.co - Trading hours
Trading follows CME hours in Eastern Time: each session opens at 6:00 PM ET (Sunday to Thursday) and closes at 5:00 PM ET (Monday to Friday), with a 5:00 to 6:00 PM ET daily break. No trading on weekends.
source · help.tradeify.co - Flat time / no overnight holding
All positions must be closed by 4:45 PM ET on normal days and by 12:59 PM ET on holiday shortened days. Holding overnight, through the daily break or over the weekend is not allowed on any account, including live accounts. Anything still open is closed automatically; that auto-close does not fail the account, but fills may be poor. Holiday hours are announced on Tradeify's Discord.
source · help.tradeify.co - What counts as a trading day
A trading day is one session from 6:00 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET the next day, and it counts if at least one trade is placed in it. Two trades on the same calendar date can count as two trading days if they fall in different sessions. On Rithmic, a holiday half-day is only recorded at the next full close, so related credit or payouts can post late.
source · help.tradeify.co - News trading
Allowed on all accounts with no restrictions, at the trader's own risk. Tradeify warns that slippage during news can be large and that the daily loss limit should not be used as a stop loss.
source · help.tradeify.co - Hedging
Not allowed. A trader may not hold a long and a short at the same time in the same product or in two products from the same group (for example long ES and short NQ, or long MES and short NQ), whether in one account or spread across several accounts the trader controls. Groups include equity index, energy, metals, currencies, interest rates, grains, livestock and volatility; long equity index plus long volatility (FVS) also counts as offsetting. The automatic check breaches an account when an opposing position lasts more than 10 seconds and makes more than $150; cross-account and correlated-product hedging is reviewed separately by the risk team. Penalties range from failing the evaluation and denied payouts to forfeited profits and a permanent ban.
source · help.tradeify.co - Copy trading
Copying trades in the same direction across a trader's own accounts is allowed. Opposite-direction positions across accounts count as hedging. Coordinated trading with other people (team trading, someone else directing trades, third-party account management, synchronized trading across different traders) is prohibited.
source · help.tradeify.co - Bots and automated trading
Personal bots and algorithms are allowed only if the trader is the sole owner, nobody else has access, the strategy is not shared and it is used only on the trader's own Tradeify accounts (not across multiple firms). Tradeify may ask for documents or a live video of the trader turning the code on from their own computer. High-frequency trading bots are banned. The Tradovate API is only available on live funded accounts, not on evaluations or simulated funded accounts.
source · help.tradeify.co - Microscalping (10-second rule)
On funded accounts only (not evaluations): to request a payout, more than half of all trades must be held longer than 10 seconds and more than half of the profit must come from trades held longer than 10 seconds. Breaking this does not fail the account; the payout request is denied.
source · help.tradeify.co - Other strategy rules
Scalping, flipping, scaling in and out, and martingale (as long as it doesn't involve hedging) are allowed. Dollar-cost averaging is allowed as part of a structured plan, but averaging into a loser without a plan is discouraged. Exploiting platform errors, price-feed delays, execution mistakes or other system faults is prohibited and can lead to termination.
source · help.tradeify.co - Account ownership and sharing
Each trader must personally own, verify and operate their account. Sharing logins, letting someone else trade or verify, or transferring an account is prohibited, even between family members or with permission. Each person may hold only one Tradeify user account, and purchases must be paid with a payment method in the trader's own name (no family or third-party cards).
source · help.tradeify.co - VPN / VPS
Logging in through a VPN or VPS is not allowed. Using a VPS after a normal login is at the trader's own risk, and the Terms of Use prohibit a VPS or similar setup that stops Tradeify from verifying device, location or identity.
source · help.tradeify.co - Inactivity
Every evaluation and funded account must have at least one trade each Monday-to-Friday week. Otherwise it can be closed or deleted after an email warning, and accounts removed for inactivity cannot be reinstated. Elite Live accounts need at least one filled trade every 30 days or they are closed.
source · help.tradeify.co - Funded account limit
A maximum of 5 active simulated funded accounts per household, in any mix of Growth, Select and Lightning. Select 300K V2 funded accounts sit on top of that, for up to 8 in total. Failed or expired accounts don't count. Passed evaluations can be held and activated later when a slot opens.
source · help.tradeify.co - Evaluation purchase limits
Up to 15 Select evaluations can be bought in any 30-day period counted from the first purchase, and each Select evaluation can be reset up to 10 times in 30 days. There is no limit on Growth evaluations. The Growth evaluation page adds that at most 5 Growth funded accounts can be activated per day (resetting every 24 hours, UTC).
source · help.tradeify.co - Fees and billing
All accounts are one-time purchases; there are no monthly subscriptions and no activation fees on Growth, Select or Lightning. A $1 card authorization hold is placed at purchase and released within 3-5 business days. Promo codes generally work on all account types but not on resets.
source · help.tradeify.co - Resets
Only failed Growth and Select evaluations can be reset, at any time after failing, for a fixed fee that cannot be discounted (Growth $60/$95/$169/$229 and Select $75/$109/$169/$239 for 25K/50K/100K/150K; the 50% consistency Select add-on and the 300K have their own prices or no reset). A reset gives a new account with the same type and settings. Lightning and all simulated funded accounts cannot be reset; a new purchase is needed.
source · help.tradeify.co - Refunds and chargebacks
No refunds; all sales are final (the only exception mentioned is a promo code that was not applied). Filing a chargeback breaks the Terms of Use: all active accounts are frozen immediately and the person is permanently barred from buying again.
source · help.tradeify.co - Commissions
Commissions are charged per contract round trip and include exchange, NFA and clearing fees. Examples: ES, NQ, YM, RTY $5.76; micros MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K $1.82; CL $5.98; GC $6.20; MGC and MCL $2.12. EUREX products are charged in euros.
source · help.tradeify.co - Profit split and payout methods
Simulated funded accounts pay 90% of each approved payout to the trader. Elite Live accounts pay 80%. Payouts go through Rise (main method; bank transfer or crypto, no PayPal) or Plane where Rise does not serve the trader's country. Payouts are usually sent within 24 hours after Rise onboarding; requests made outside Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM ET or on federal holidays can take up to 72 hours. Only one open payout request per account at a time, and requests cannot be edited or cancelled.
source · help.tradeify.co - KYC (identity checks)
Identity verification (Sumsub: government photo ID plus a selfie) is required before the first payout. Residents of Brazil, China, Italy, Mexico, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the UAE must verify before receiving any funded account, including Lightning. Crypto purchases require KYC at purchase, and the Select 300K and Level Up require KYC before purchase. Rise runs its own separate check (ID, proof of address, tax form). Funded traders are re-screened against sanctions and PEP lists on an ongoing basis.
source · help.tradeify.co - Know Your Trader interview
Tradeify can ask any trader, at any stage, to complete a short AI-run interview (usually under 10 minutes) about their own trading history, to confirm the account holder is the person trading. It must be done alone without help or AI tools. Not completing it by the deadline can pause the account or payouts.
source · help.tradeify.co - Restricted countries
Residents of 65 countries cannot use Tradeify, including Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, Israel, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Morocco, Algeria, Bulgaria, Albania, Iceland and others listed on the page. The rule is based on where the trader permanently lives, not where they travel.
source · help.tradeify.co - Live account promotion (Elite)
Traders may be selected for Tradeify Elite Live after 3 payouts on one account or 10 payouts in total since the last live move. Selection is at Tradeify's discretion and, once offered, is mandatory. All simulated and evaluation accounts close; only funded accounts with at least one payout move over, each starting at $0 profit, up to 5 Elite accounts. Elite accounts have an end-of-day trailing drawdown (25K $1,500, 50K $2,000, 100K $3,000, 150K $4,500, 300K $6,000), no daily loss limit, daily payout requests and an 80/20 split. Simulated and live accounts can't be active at the same time anywhere in the household, and after a live account ends there is a cool-off of up to 4 weeks.
source · help.tradeify.co - Evaluation to funded
After passing, the trader clicks Activate Account on the dashboard; activation is instant (currently only on Tradovate) and free. Evaluation profits do not carry over: the funded account starts at the base size (for example $50,000).
source · help.tradeify.co - Closing accounts and outages
Closing an account forfeits its profits, and accounts can't be paused. Balances are only restored after a confirmed platform-wide incident such as a server outage, not for normal losses, volatility or CME trading halts.
