Heads up: recent changes and conflicting pages 11
- Prices: the main website lucidtrading.com (where plan prices are shown) refused automated access, and the help center gives no dollar prices for any current plan, so every price is null. The help center only says evaluations are a one-time fee, the DLL-on version is cheaper, DLL-off and end-of-day drawdown cost more, and the 50% consistency add-on costs 'a small fee'.
- LucidMaxx pricing: the old tiered prices ($110-$680 depending on size and how many live accounts were blown) are marked by the firm as no longer applicable 'As of 10/04/2026'. Current LucidMaxx prices are not published in the help center.
- LucidBlack is listed in the help center only as 'LucidBlack (Legacy)' (60% consistency, no DLL, 25K/50K/100K) and is treated here as no longer sold; the help center does not state a discontinuation date.
- Live-transition rules changed in 2026: the 'Legacy' live articles for LucidFlex and LucidDirect cover accounts 'purchased/reset on 2/27/26 and prior', and LucidPro Live (Legacy) also references accounts purchased or reset on 1/19/26 or earlier. The current rules are in the 'New Live Structure' article.
- Number of payouts before live: the New Live Structure and LucidFlex Payouts articles say Payout 5 is the maximum ('Each account allows up to 5 payouts'), while the Legacy live articles for Flex, Pro and Direct say traders move live 'after the sixth and final' payout (legacy accounts only).
- LucidPro consistency changed from 35% to 40% for accounts purchased or reset on or after 11/28/2025 at 3:00 PM EST; earlier accounts keep 35%. Accounts bought before that date may also still get 100% of the first $10k in profit instead of 90/10.
- LucidPro 25K daily loss limit: the LucidPro Funded Account article lists 'Fixed DLL (optional) $600' for 25K, but the LucidPro Daily Loss Limit article lists the 25K DLL as 'None' for both evaluation and funded.
- LucidDaily consistency: the LucidDaily Evaluation and LucidDaily Consistency articles state a flat 50% consistency, while the LucidDaily Customization article says 'Consistency: 40% or 50%' with 40% as standard and 50% as a paid add-on. The same Customization article says there are 'eight unique LucidDaily account configurations' but then lists four.
- The New Live Structure says a funded account not moved live is refunded if it has at least 50% of its drawdown left; the LucidDaily Live article instead says an account with 0 payouts that isn't moved is refunded, with no drawdown condition.
- The legacy FAQ page at lucidtrading.com still describes an older model (monthly 'LucidTest' subscription, activation fee for LucidPro, 35% consistency, 10 trading days for payouts, only 1 live account, a 13-country restricted list, inactivity after 4+ weeks with an email warning). It contradicts the current help center (one-time fees, no activation fee, 82 restricted countries, deletion after 30 days without $1 of P&L). The help center articles were used as the current rules.
- Microscalping, hedging and HFT penalties are described slightly differently across pages: the hedging article resets accounts to the prior day's balance on a first flag, while the old FAQ says a first offense brings a warning and loss of hedging profits.

LucidFlex
One-step evaluation with an end-of-day trailing drawdown, an optional daily loss limit and a 40% (or paid 50%) consistency rule in the evaluation only. Funded accounts have no consistency rule and no payout buffer, but use a contract scaling plan and capped payouts (up to 5, then live review).

LucidPro
One-step evaluation with no consistency rule (pass in as little as one day) and an end-of-day trailing drawdown. Funded accounts have full size from day one (no scaling plan), a daily loss limit that grows with profit if turned on, a 40% consistency rule and a buffer for payouts.

LucidDaily
Evaluation with a choice of intraday or end-of-day drawdown; the funded account always uses a real-time (intraday) trailing drawdown, has no consistency rule and allows daily payouts of anything above a buffer. News trading is banned, and hitting the Maximum Daily Profit sends the trader to live review.
| Size | Price | Profit target | Max drawdown | Daily loss limit | Split | Min payout |

LucidDirect
Instant funding: no evaluation, straight to a funded sim account with an end-of-day trailing drawdown and full contract size. Payouts need a profit goal per cycle and a strict 20% consistency rule. No add-ons; the daily loss limit is fixed by account size.
| Size | Price | Profit target | Max drawdown | Daily loss limit | Split | Min payout |

LucidMaxx
Invite-only program for traders picked by Lucid's risk team (cannot be requested or bought publicly). Two steps: an evaluation with 40% consistency, then a pre-live stage; passing puts the trader on a live account with a static drawdown, a withdrawable starting balance, daily uncapped payouts and no daily loss limit.

Rules for every Lucid Trading account
Trading hours, news, banned strategies, account limits, fees and more.
- Platforms and data feeds
Two data feeds are offered. CQG feed: NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView. Rithmic feed: Quantower, Tradesea, MotiveWave, Sierra Chart, Jigsaw, Bookmap, ATAS, R|Trader Pro and MultiCharts. The firm says every listed platform works with every Lucid account type. Data fees are not mentioned.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Approved products
34 CME Group futures are allowed: equity index (ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, RTY, M2K, YM, MYM, NKD), currencies (6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6S, 6N), livestock (HE, LE), grains (ZS, ZC, ZL, ZM, ZW), energy (CL, MCL, QM, QG, NG), and metals (PL, HG, GC, MGC, SI, SIL). Anything not on this list is not listed as approved.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Commissions
Commissions are charged per contract, per side: $1.75 for full-size equity index minis (ES, NQ, RTY, YM, NKD); $0.50 for micro equity index and Micro Crude (MES, MNQ, M2K, MYM, MCL); $2.40 for currency futures; $2.80 for grains and livestock; $2.00 for CL, QM and NG; $1.30 for QG; $2.30 for PL, HG, GC and SI; $0.80 for MGC; $1.60 for SIL.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Flat time (sim accounts)
On LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect accounts, every position must be closed by 4:45 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday. Lucid auto-closes anything still open at 4:45 PM; this does not fail the account. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM Eastern, Sunday to Thursday. The article does not list LucidDaily separately.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Holiday closes
On market holidays with early closes, positions must be closed before the market closes, even if that is earlier than 4:45 PM Eastern.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Live account flat times
Live (LucidLive) accounts may not swing trade. Tradovate live accounts can hold until 4:45 PM Eastern; Rithmic live accounts until 4:15 PM Eastern. An optional auto-liquidate setting is configured during live onboarding.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - News trading
Allowed on LucidFlex, LucidPro and LucidDirect, at the trader's own risk (slippage and exchange velocity-logic pauses can occur). Not allowed on LucidDaily: for high-impact (red folder) USD news, a LucidDaily account must be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after the release; breaking this is a hard breach that fails the account.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Hedging (prohibited)
All hedging is banned: opposite positions in the same contract across your own accounts, between different people's accounts, or between Lucid and other firms. Mini and micro of the same contract are fine inside one account but banned across separate accounts. Opposite positions in correlated markets across separate accounts (for example long ES in one, short NQ in another; also metals and energies groups) are banned. First flag: email notice and the accounts are reset to the prior day's balance (drawdown used is not restored). Repeat offenses: all involved accounts are failed and the trader may be permanently banned.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Microscalping (prohibited)
Accounts are flagged when more than 50% of profits come from trades held 5 seconds or less. A flagged account gets a manual review; bad-faith activity can bring a written warning, and if it continues, all microscalping profits are forfeited and the trader may be permanently banned. Normal scalping that reflects realistic fills is allowed. Appeals are possible.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - High-frequency trading (prohibited)
Automated high-frequency trading (very many orders in seconds or milliseconds) is banned. First offense: written warning. Repeat offenses: HFT profits removed, account closed and permanent ban. No numeric order-count threshold is published.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Bots, automation and trade copiers
Automated trading systems and trade copiers are permitted, as long as all activity follows Lucid's rules. The trader is fully responsible for any software errors or malfunctions. (Copying trades must still not create hedges across accounts.)
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Scaling in, DCA and flipping
Adding to positions (DCA) is allowed; martingale-style adding to losers is strongly discouraged. Genuine scalping is allowed. 'Flipping' (quick in-and-out trades to log a trading day) is allowed.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Exploiting the simulator
Using platform bugs, delayed updates, simulated price inconsistencies, or any tactic that would not work in real markets is prohibited and can lead to account review.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Account limits
Per household or family: up to 10 active evaluation accounts; up to 5 active funded accounts (all funded plan types combined); evaluation plus funded together may not exceed 10 (for example 5 evals + 5 funded); up to 5 active live accounts.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Household rule for live traders
If one member of a household trades a live account, other household members may not trade sim accounts.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Inactivity
There is no daily or weekly trading requirement, but an account that does not record at least $1 of net profit or loss within 30 calendar days is treated as abandoned and permanently deleted.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Breached accounts
An account is breached when its balance reaches the Max Loss Limit. A breached evaluation can be reset (paid) any time within 30 days; after 30 days without a reset it is automatically deleted. Traders can also remove a breached account themselves from the dashboard.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Resets
Resets are not automatic or free; they are bought from the trader dashboard and restore the account's original balance and risk settings. The help center does not publish the reset price.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Fees and billing
Evaluations are a one-time fee with no monthly subscription or automatic rebilling, and there is no activation fee to move from evaluation to funded. Dollar prices are not listed in the help center (the main website, where prices are shown, could not be retrieved).
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Daily loss limit behaviour
Wherever a Daily Loss Limit applies, it is a soft breach: hitting it pauses trading until the next session but does not fail the account, as long as the Max Loss Limit is not reached.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Customization is permanent
Options chosen at checkout (daily loss limit on/off, consistency 40%/50%, LucidDaily drawdown type) cannot be changed on an active account; a different setup requires buying a new account.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - On-demand (intraday) payouts
Funded accounts with the Daily Loss Limit turned on can request payouts during the session (6:00 PM to 3:45 PM Eastern) from profit made that session; after an intraday request the account is paused until the end of the trading day. Accounts with a hedging violation are not eligible. Accounts without a DLL use the normal end-of-day payout schedule.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Payout requests
Minimum payout request is $500 on every funded plan. Requests are final and cannot be edited or cancelled. If a trade drops the balance below the required level before the payout is processed, the request may be denied. Funds leave the account within minutes of approval and reach the payment method within 2 business days.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Payout methods
Plaid (instant bank transfer, U.S. traders), WorkMarket by ADP (U.S. and international; bank transfer or PayPal, often next business day), and crypto for international traders (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC).
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Payment methods
Purchases are by debit or credit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and Maestro.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Business accounts and KYC
A trader may register as a person or a business, but only one profile is allowed and it cannot be converted later. Business profiles must be paid as a business and must send proof of incorporation, proof of ownership, and government photo ID for every owner of 25% or more. WorkMarket handles its own KYC. Live traders complete KYC with the broker partner before sim profits above the buffer are paid.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Restricted countries
82 countries/regions are restricted, including Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Bahamas, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cuba, Ecuador, Ghana, Iceland, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Lithuania, Morocco, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Philippines, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Ukraine (and Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Sevastopol), Venezuela, Vietnam and Zimbabwe. See the source for the full list.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Promotion to live
Traders enter a live-review pool after Payout 5 on a Flex, Pro or Direct account, hitting the Maximum Daily Profit on LucidDaily, large lifetime payouts, exceptional performance, or a previous live move; the risk team decides. All eligible funded accounts (each needs at least one payout) move live at once, one live account per funded account; remaining sim accounts close. Live accounts start at a $0 balance with daily payouts, an end-of-day trailing drawdown equal to the funded account's drawdown ($1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 for 25K/50K/100K/150K), no daily loss limit and no consistency rule. The live drawdown locks at $100 once live profit equals the starting drawdown (or when a payout is taken earlier).
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Live cashout option and bonus
Instead of going live, a trader can take a cashout equal to 50% of the live starting balance (90/10 split); with no choice within 24 hours the accounts go live automatically. A repeatable Live Bonus pays $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 (25K/50K/100K/150K, 90/10 split) after live profit of $2,000 / $4,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 and 20 trading days.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Live scaling plan
Live accounts unlock contracts as profit grows, by exchange. Example: a 50K live account starts at 2 minis (CME/CBOT/NYMEX; 1 mini on COMEX), 3 minis from $2,000 profit, 4 minis from $4,000. Limits update at end of day.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Live cooldown
After blowing a live account a trader can buy a new evaluation after a standard 2-week cooldown; reckless 'yolo' trading can lead to longer cooldowns.
source · support.lucidtrading.com - Refunds
No general refund policy is published in the help center. The only refund mentioned: when a trader moves live, a funded account that is not moved (ineligible) is refunded its evaluation cost if it still has at least 50% of its total drawdown left.
