Evaluation
passing the test- Profit target
- $2,500
- Max drawdown
- $1,500 end-of-day trailing (floor starts $48,500, moves up once a day with your closing high; an open loss touching it intraday still breaches)
- Daily loss limit
- None
- Consistency rule
- 40%: no single day may exceed 40% of the target ($1,000). If one does, the target grows to best day / 0.40 (e.g. $1,500 day -> $3,750 target).
- Minimum trading days
- None stated (no time limit; can pass in 1 day if consistency allows - in practice at least 3 days)
- Max contracts
- 3 minis or 30 micros
- Also know
- Micro-scalping at 40%+ blocks passing until below 40%. Resets allowed only in the challenge.
Funded
after you pass- Activation fee
- None
- Max drawdown
- $1,500 end-of-day trailing
- When the drawdown stops trailing
- Stops trailing at $50,100 (start + $100); the first payout also resets/locks the floor at $50,100
- Daily loss limit
- None
- Consistency rule
- None
- Max contracts / scaling
- 3 minis or 30 micros, fixed (no scaling plan)
- Also know
- No buffer rule. Cannot be reset.
Payouts
getting paid- Days needed before a payout
- 5 Benchmark Days before every withdrawal (a benchmark day = a day with at least $200 profit)
- How often
- Per cycle, whenever the 5 benchmark days and $500 cycle profit are met; request at end of a day you haven't traded
- Profit split
- 95%
- Minimum payout
- $250 (and at least $500 profit in the current cycle; withdraw button locked until $500 profit)
- Maximum payout
- Up to 50% of the cycle's accumulated profit, capped at $1,500 per payout
- Buffer / safety net
- None
- Also know
- Account is concluded after the 5th payout.
Heads up: recent changes and conflicting pages 9
- Legacy accounts stopped being sold on October 11 (2026) and existing Legacy accounts can no longer be reset. The original Rapid and Bolt models were discontinued on 10 July 2026 (no new purchases or resets); they were replaced by Rapid Pro / Rapid Daily. Futures Labs test products (FNL:001/002/003) are marked 'not eligible for purchase'.
- Most Rapid Pro/Daily, breach, trading-hours and prohibited-strategy articles are dated September 30, 2026; Flex and general-rule pages say 'updated over a week/2 weeks ago'.
- Prices conflict between official pages. Rapid Pro 50K is shown as $149.99 (rules page), $159.99 (RAPID offer, new users), $169.99 (sizes/prices page) and $174.99 (reset table / existing users); Rapid Pro 100K as $249.99 or $279.99; DLL Add-On prices also vary ($109.99 vs $119.99 for 50K). Rapid Daily reset fees are marked '[VERIFY]' on the rules page. The JSON uses the RAPID-coupon offer article and reset-fee table; confirm on checkout.
- Flex prices assume coupon FNFLEX (47% off first 2 purchases, 40% after). Direct price assumes coupon FNDIRECT. Base list prices are shown alongside.
- For Flex $50K: $1,500 EOD trailing max loss locking at $50,100, no daily loss limit, 3 minis/30 micros max, funded payouts need 5 days of $200+ profit and $500 cycle profit, max 50% of cycle profit up to $1,500 per payout at 95%, and the account ends after the 5th payout. No consistency rule once funded.
- Must be flat by 3:10 PM CT daily (auto-close; on holiday early closes auto-close may not happen). Trading reopens 5:00 PM CT.
- The help center does not define how long a payout 'cycle' is; it runs from the last withdrawal (or account start) to now per the Direct consistency article.
- Official withdrawal article mentions MLL locking at $50,000 for 'Rapid and Legacy 50K' (the old models) versus $50,100 for Flex/Rapid Pro/Daily/Direct.
- Reset article contradicts itself on when trading resumes after a daily-loss-limit reset (immediately vs next 5 PM CT session).

Rules for every FundedNext Futures account
Trading hours, news, banned strategies, account limits, fees and more.
- Models currently sold
Four futures models are on sale now: Flex (1-step challenge, $50K/$100K/$150K), Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily (1-step challenge, $25K/$50K/$100K; you pick Pro or Daily at purchase and cannot switch later), and the Direct Account ($50K funded account from day one, no challenge). Legacy stopped being sold on October 11 (2026); the original Rapid and Bolt models stopped being sold on 10 July 2026. Existing Legacy/Rapid/Bolt accounts can keep trading but cannot be reset.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Fees / activation
One-time fee for the challenge only. No monthly subscription and no activation fee: moving from a passed challenge to the FundedNext (funded) account costs nothing extra. All purchases and resets are non-refundable.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Platforms
Tradovate (browser/cloud), NinjaTrader (desktop) and TradingView (trade the account directly through the integration). The help article does not state data feed provider or any platform/data fee for sim accounts.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Products allowed
CME equity index (NQ, MNQ, ES, MES, RTY, M2K), CBOT (YM, MYM, corn ZC, soybeans ZS, soybean meal ZM, soybean oil ZL, wheat ZW), CME FX (6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6N, 6S, M6A), CME ag (lean hogs HE, live cattle LE), COMEX metals (GC, MGC, HG, MHG, SI, SIL) and NYMEX energy (CL, QM, MCL, NG, QG, RB). Nothing outside this list is described as tradable.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Contract limits (all plans)
Each account has a fixed max contract count set when it is created; it never grows with profit (no scaling plan in sim). Minis and micros can be mixed at 1 mini = 10 micros. Going over the limit is not a breach: the profit from the extra contracts is removed, but any losses on them still count.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Trading hours / must be flat
Trading runs from 5:00 PM CT to 3:10 PM CT the next day; reopens Sunday 5:00 PM CT. Every position must be closed by 3:10 PM CT each day; anything still open is auto-closed. No overnight or weekend holding (holding is listed as a breach). On holiday half-days the auto-close may NOT happen, so close yourself. Trading at the 5 PM open is allowed but discouraged because of thin liquidity.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - News trading
Allowed, not restricted (FAQ warns stops may fill at a worse price during news). Exception: traders placed in the Disciplined Trader Program may not trade high-impact news. Separately, trading in illiquid/gapped markets or right before major events is listed among prohibited practices when used to exploit fills.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Maximum Loss Limit (all plans)
Every current plan uses an end-of-day trailing max loss: the floor moves up once a day at 5:00 PM CT based on the day's highest (closing) balance, never moves down, and stops trailing at a lock level (generally starting balance + $100). Even though it only updates at day end, if an open trade's loss touches the floor during the day the account is breached instantly. This is a hard breach: the account is gone and all profit is forfeited.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Daily Loss Limit (where it applies)
Only Rapid Daily, Rapid Pro bought with the DLL Add-On, and the Direct Account have one; Flex has none. It counts closed losses, open (floating) losses, commissions and exchange fees, measured from the previous end-of-day balance. Hitting it is a soft breach: trading is stopped for the rest of the day and the account resumes next trading day.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Breaches and recovery
Hard breaches: max loss limit, prohibited strategies, holding past 3:10 PM CT or over the weekend, withdrawing 100% of profit on Legacy. A hard-breached challenge can be reset (paid); a hard-breached funded account cannot be recovered - you must buy and pass a new challenge. All profit is forfeited on any hard breach.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Resets
Challenge accounts can be reset any time (even without a breach), unlimited times within the allocation cap; balance, stats and loss limits start fresh, and trade-copier/journal connections must be reconnected. Funded accounts and the Direct Account can never be reset. A Rapid Pro bought with the DLL Add-On must be reset with the add-on.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Number of accounts
Challenges: up to $750,000 combined allocation at once, no monthly cap on purchases. Funded (FundedNext) accounts, including Direct: max 5 active at a time per person AND per household (same address or IP), and max 10 issued per calendar month. Extra passed accounts wait as 'pending' and activate automatically when a slot opens.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Inactivity
Challenge and funded accounts are deactivated after 30 calendar days in a row with no trade (weekends count; the clock starts if no trade by 4:01 PM CT on purchase day). One trade resets the counter. Direct Account is stricter: at least one trade every Monday-Friday trading week, or it is an inactivity breach.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Prohibited strategies
Banned: exploiting platform errors/stale prices, account sharing, account rolling (buying many challenges to pass by luck), order spam, spoofing, layering, wash trading, slow-feed/latency arbitrage, all-in 'account flipping', bracket exploitation, grid trading, tick scalping that exploits sim fills, trading in gapped/illiquid markets to exploit fills, and trading within 2% of the CME daily price limit. Hedging is banned: opposite positions on the same/equivalent or correlated instruments (e.g. long NQ in one account and short MNQ in another, or ES vs YM), within one account or across your accounts, or coordinated with other people. Penalty: suspension/disqualification.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Copy trading
Allowed to copy your OWN trades between your own FundedNext accounts or to/from your own accounts at other prop firms (names must match). Not allowed: group trading, signal services, or copying anyone else's trades.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Bots / EAs / VPN
Automated strategies (EAs/bots) are allowed in challenge and funded accounts, but each bot must use a distinct strategy and must not place identical trades across FundedNext accounts; bots tied to Telegram/WhatsApp, latency abuse and order flooding are banned. VPN/VPS allowed. High-frequency trading is prohibited (no numeric threshold given).
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - High-Frequency Trading
Not allowed. Automated trading at HFT speed/frequency is reviewed and can lead to account termination. No numeric thresholds published.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Micro-scalping (10-second trades)
A trade opened and closed within 10 seconds is 'micro-scalping'. Only winning ones count, as a % of total profit per cycle, per account. At 30%: warning only. At 40%+ in a challenge: you cannot pass until it drops below 40%. At 40%+ in a funded account: that micro-scalp profit is deducted from the payout cycle (if that wipes out the cycle profit, no payout that cycle). Never terminates the account.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - 2% price-limit rule
Do not trade within 2% of the CME daily price limit (equity index limit is 7%, so the no-trade zone starts around a 5% move). Violations can mean profit deductions, restrictions or suspension.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - DCA / averaging
Adding to positions is allowed if it follows a pre-planned structure; unplanned averaging down is discouraged. No penalty stated.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Disciplined Trader Program
Traders flagged for excessive risk (after a warning) are enrolled: max 1% of starting balance risk per trade, stop loss on every trade, no high-impact news trading, new purchases capped at $50K total. 2nd violation cuts the split to 50/50; 3rd ends in termination. Graduate after 5 cycles, $30K cumulative profit and 15 winning days of $200+.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Commissions
Commissions and exchange/clearing fees are charged per contract per side (round trip = contracts x all-in rate x 2); example given: NQ all-in $2.88 per side. Fees count toward daily loss limits.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - KYC / age
Must be 18+. KYC (photo ID + live selfie, proof of address if asked) is not needed to trade but must be approved before your first payout; covers all FundedNext accounts. Review 24-48 hours, 3 attempts.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Restricted countries
Cannot buy from: Afghanistan, Albania, Antarctica, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belize, Bouvet Island, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cape Verde, Chad, Comoros, Congo, DR Congo, Cook Islands, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Djibouti, Eritrea, Fiji, Grenada, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, North Korea, Laos, Lebanon, Lesotho, Libya, Malawi, Malaysia, Mali, Myanmar, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Russia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Tuvalu, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen. The US is not on the list. A separate list governs who can move to live trading.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Passing / funded account issuance
Passing is checked after the trading day closes (profit target, consistency where applicable, max loss, all rules). Then an agreement pops up on the dashboard; the funded account is issued once you sign (subject to the 5-active / 10-per-month limits).
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Payout mechanics (all plans)
Minimum withdrawal $250 (Direct: $800). Request at end of day by moving profit to the wallet; if you place a trade that day you cannot request until the next eligible day. First withdrawal locks the max-loss floor at its lock level. Methods: USDT/USDC crypto, RiseWorks, card, bank transfer ($1,000 minimum, not covered by the 24h promise), or transfer to FNmarkets. 'Brand Promise': paid within 24 hours of request or FundedNext adds $1,000 (excludes bank transfer and delays from wrong details).
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Live trading
After 15 Performance Rewards across your profile (or exceptional record / prior live experience) you enter a review pool for live accounts at FundedNext's discretion. If moved to live, all sim accounts close (funded accounts with 1+ payout convert to live; ones with 0 payouts are refunded; challenges close without refund). Live: one account per eligible funded account (max 5), small starting balance ($2,000 for 50K) with its own trailing max loss, 100% split on first $5,000 withdrawn then 90%.
source · helpfutures.fundednext.com - Other
No account pausing; accounts cannot be merged; no margin requirement (only contract limits). No daily profit cap.
